A group of activists in favour of open borders called ‘Safe Passage-Stop Wars’ held a protest on the Acropolis Friday, March 18 by hanging a banner from the ancient site rock which read ‘Open Borders’. The ‘open border’ activists relayed a message to the world on the day the EU28 Summit is underway in Brussels on the refugee crisis that a humane stance of solidarity and humanity should be put forward, instead of a Europe with walls. They says they are fighting for a Europe without xenophobia and against right-wing voices in Europe.
