The citizens of the city of Orestiada in north-eastern Greece will take part in a rally for the release of the two Greek servicemen arrested by Turkish authorities last week and being held in a maximum security prison in Adrianople. The rally is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 11 and is being organised by the publisher of Thracian newspaper “Antifonitis”, Kostas Karaiskos. In an interview with Thessaloniki based radio “Focus Fm”, he underlined the significance of Greeks from all over the country taking part in order to send a clear message.
The organisers are urging all the people of Evros, regardless of political affiliations to attend the gathering in an online invitation.
