The ‘Outview Film Festival’ celebrates 10 years this year and is making a comeback with world and European film premieres, panel discussions, workshops and specials. With the logo ‘Give me your hand-You are wonderful’, a lyric from one of late David Bowie’s songs, the festival will take place at the ‘Teniothiki’ (Video Library) exhibition area on Iera Odod in Athens between April 14 and 24. A number of foreign Embassies will sponsor different parts of the events, including the Brazilian Embassy’s support of the closing ceremony, the US Embassy’s support of a theme dedicated to exploring original trends in dancing, movement, video and gender focused in 1950s America. This year’s discussion panel comprises of four female activists and academics from Greece and Holland who are fighting against ‘Obesophobia’.
