Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the UN World Humanitarian Summit on Monday in Istanbul.
During the 50-minute meeting, they talked about the refugee, the Cyprus issue and Greek-Turkish relations.
According to Greek sources, both leaders agreed that there should be no tension in the Aegean Sea, while they also discussed issues on Greek-Turkish cooperation on many sectors, such as the energy.
Mr. Tsipras is accompanied by Alternate Minister of Migration Policy Yannis Mouzalas, while Mr. Erdogan is accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Feridun Sinirlioglu.
