Powerful 7.4 earthquake hits Japan

A powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake has rocked Japan, a day after a strong 6.5 earthquake had hit the Kiusus island. The earthquake struck in the early morning hours of Saturday with the epicenter southeast of Kumamoto, the US Geological Survey said. A tsunami warning has been issued by Japanese authorities.
