Tasoulas from Amphipolis: Human representations found on marble architraves

Minister of culture during his visit to the archaeological museum of Amphipolis stated that “This is a unique archaeological find which adds to the great mosaic of the cultural achievements of Greece”

Mr. Kostas Tasoulas revealed that human representations and objects were found in painted marble architraves.

The Minister of Culture supported that following a sufficient period that the painted marble architrave have been kept in the museum of Amphipolis they begin to be disclosed. It takes time to complete maintenance and see what lies beneath, said the Minister of Culture.

Further he stated that “This is a unique archaeological find which adds to the great mosaic of the cultural achievements of Greece”.

According to Mr. Tasoula thanks to Amphipolis the Greeks discovers  archeology and its beauty.
