Greek actor Theocharis Ioannidis uploaded a video on his social media account showing Hollywood star Tom Hanks singing “Christos Anesti” (Christ is risen) in a party at Los Angeles.
Hanks, whose wife Rita Wilson is of Greek origin, is baptized Orthodox Christian and along with other believers he attended Good Friday liturgy at Hagia Sophia church in Los Angeles carrying also the Epitaph.
Tom Hanks celebrated Resurrection on Holly Saturday along with his wife and actress Nia Vardalos. They were all photographed holding their candles and posted the picture on Twitter writing: “Alithos! Jim = EasterBunnyBomber.RT @RitaWilson: @tomhanks @NiaVardalos @TherealMelinaK Christos Anesti!”.
