Greece is preparing for the largest gathering of Ferraris ever seen in the country, as Ferrari Cavalcade 2026 brings 116 crews from around the world on a route across the Adriatic and the Eastern Mediterranean, ending in Athens.
The event, one of Ferrari’s most exclusive international gatherings for its clients, will take place from 29 June to 6 July, combining driving routes through Italy, Slovenia and Croatia with a sea crossing and a final stop in the Greek capital. For car enthusiasts in Greece, it will be a rare opportunity to see a remarkable collection of Ferrari models, from modern hypercars to some of the brand’s most recognisable classics.
Ferrari Cavalcade is a closed event created by the Maranello-based company for its most loyal clients and collectors. Each year, Ferrari selects a different route, combining driving, landscape, culture and hospitality. This year’s edition is particularly significant for Greece, as Athens will host the finale of the event, placing the country on the map of high-end automotive tourism.
The participating cars are expected to include some of Ferrari’s most sought-after models. Among them will be the new Ferrari F80, the 12Cilindri and 12Cilindri Spider, the SF90 XX Stradale and Spider, the Daytona SP3, LaFerrari, the 296 GTB and GTS, the Roma Spider and the Testarossa, one of the most recognisable supercars of the 1980s.
The programme begins on 29 June in Trieste, where the cars will be displayed publicly in Piazza Unità d’Italia. The following day, the convoy will head towards Slovenia and Croatia, with stops including Gorizia, Nova Gorica, Strmol Castle, Ribnica and Rijeka.
On 1 July, the Cavalcade will continue along the Croatian coast, passing through Zadar, Novigrad, Šibenik, Trogir and Split, before reaching southern Croatia and Ston on 2 July. The route has been designed to combine coastal scenery, historic towns and some of the most striking landscapes of the Adriatic.
After a short pause, the event will resume on 5 July in Greece. The cars will arrive in the Peloponnese before continuing towards Piraeus and Athens, where the final events will take place.
The finale of Ferrari Cavalcade 2026 will be held in Athens, with a gala evening and charity auction. Proceeds from the auction will support educational and training initiatives, including the Kypseli project for young refugees in Greece and the future M-TECH Alfredo Ferrari educational centre in Maranello, which is planned as a hub for innovation, technology and training for the next generation of automotive engineers and technicians.
A major innovation of this year’s Cavalcade is its collaboration with Explora Journeys. For the first time, the event will combine the driving experience with a luxury cruise aboard EXPLORA II, creating a format that links supercar travel with high-end hospitality at sea.
The choice of Athens as the final destination gives the event added importance. Beyond the spectacle of dozens of Ferraris on Greek roads, the Cavalcade is expected to draw international media attention and highlight Greece’s growing appeal as a destination for luxury travel, automotive culture and high-profile international events.
