Turkish fighter jets fly again over Greek islands

They flew over the islets of Anthropofagi and Agathonisi

Six Turkish F-16 jets flew twice over the islets of Anthropofagi and Agathonisi, in the southeastern Aegean, just a few hours before the arrival of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As the Hellenic National Defence General Staff said on Friday, four fighter jets flew over Anthropofagi at 3,300 feet at 13:45 and three minutes later, another two F-16s flew over the same islet at 5,200 feet.

The same jets flew over Agathonisi at 8,800 feet and later two other jets at 20,000 feet.

Greece responded immediately and Greek fighter jets took off from Skyros and Lemnos and proceeded to identify and intercept the Turkish jets.
