Former Greek Finance Minister Yianis Varoufakis, who is involved, among other things, in left European political group called DiEM25, is once more in the spotlight for the arts fans. In 2015 a video on a German TV show titled ‘V for Varoufakis’, showing the former Minister as the terminator of his Eurogroup opponents, went viral. This time it is a comics strip titled ‘V’, which presents the story of the infamous meeting between the then Greek minister with his Dutch counterpart and president of the Eurogroup, Jeroen Jijsselbloem, during which the latter told Varoufakis he had just destroyed the Troika, to which Varoufakis responded with the exclamation ‘Wow’.
