Violent clashes at Syntagma square – No one arrested (vid+pics)

Groups of anarchists were throwing Molotov coctails, burning cars and smashing shop windows

Violence broke out during the massive strike organized by the two main Greek unions at the center of Athens.

Groups of anarchists started throwing molotov cocktails at Syntagma square, whereas violent episodes occured also at Kolokotroni square with groups of anarchists burning cars and smashing shop windows.

According to reports, at Patision street, another group attacked to three policemen.

Despite the many damages caused, police did not arrest anyone.

 

The violent episodes were also covered by major international media agencies with breaking news on what was happening at the center of Athens.
