When New York librarians were the “modern” Wikipedia

Ranging from funny questions, to more… serious ones

These days, a quick Google search answers all our questions. Have you ever, however, wondered how pre-internet people satisfied their curiosity? The role is currently played by Google and Wikipedia, but back then, librarians were called to answer those questions. Sometimes serious, sometimes very funny.  Despite the current internet-era, librarian Rosa Caballero-Lee, of the New York Public Library, continues to receive about 100 queries per day.
