An incredible underwater footage shows a huge iguana swimming close to human divers in the Pacific Ocean.
Nicknamed ‘Godzilla’ for its rampaging movements and size in comparison to its other sea creatures, this huge lizard was captured in remarkably clear footage hunting for food on the sea bed.
He was filmed by videographer Steve Winkworth, at Cabo Marshall, a dive site off the north coast of Isabela in the Galapagos Islands.
In the footage, the iguana crawls along the sea bed searching for food before lifting off and heading back to the surface for air, Mirror reports.
The video was posted on Reddit with the title: “Tiny Godzilla nomming on things underwater.”
