A two year-old boy from Arizona was taken to the emergency room after he shot himself in the face with a weapon covered in the bedsheets.

The accident took place on Thursday when the boy and his 7 year-old brother were in their house, watched after by their grandmother and their aunt. According to the authorities, the child was playing in his parents’ bedroom when he found his father’s loaded weapon. Doctors stated that the bullet entered through his cheek and exited his head. A piece of his skull was removed during surgery.
