Based on data from Travelplanet24.com, one of the top 20 e-commerce companies in Greece, there is a significant increase in bookings made through mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones. Approximately one in five Greeks booked his/her ferry tickets using a mobile device (18 % of total bookings), an increase of 7% compared with 2013.

Prices are around the same level as last year: the average price of ferry tickets for 2 people round trip is around 139 € in 2014 while in 2013 it was 141 €. However, a slight decrease of 1.4 % is observed for this season.

The calculation of bookings was conducted:

For 2014: From 01/01/14 to 12/04/14. The travel period is for those traveling roundtrip from 12/04/2014 to 21/04/2014
For 2013: From 01/01/13 to 27/04/13. The travel period is for those who traveled roundtrip from 27/4/2013 to 06/05/2013
