German Chancellor Angela Merkel will receive French President Francois Hollande on May 10th in Stralsund, her constituency on the Baltic coast in northeastern Germany, according to a regional newspaper.

However, this meeting has not been officially confirmed neither by the Chancellary or the French presidency.

The Chancellor invited the socialist president of France for informal talks, the newspaper states, saying that the main theme of the meeting will be the situation in the Ukraine.
