An answer on the willingness of SYRIZA to do “whatever it takes” as a government, if there are problems with our partners, has been given by the New Democracy party through its communiqué.
New Democracy characterized Dragasaki’s statement as an admission that a potential SYRIZA government “can bring the country to a dead-end”, while noting that Glezos’ comment “returns to the issue of the drachma once more stating that ‘for SYRIZA, the form of currency (euro or drachmas) doesn’t matter”.
“Obviously they both mean what the pre-elections SYRIZA declaration states for European elections, i.e. default, bankruptcy and a return to the drachma!”, concluded the New Democracy statement.
