Panic was caused when a gunman opened fire at a postal facility of FedEx in Georgia, USA, which is within walking distance from Cobb County airport.

The shots of the gunman injured at least six people, who were hospitalized immediately.

Meanwhile, the order was given to facility staff to evacuate the area, according to local media.

Police authorities have rushed to the spot and are still looking for the armed gunman or gunmen, since there is apparently a confusion about the number of offenders. “It remains unclear how many were injured and what the causes of the incident are”, reports Business Insider.

At the same time, the company issued a notice stating: “FedEx has knowledge of the situation. Our priority is the safety of our employees. FedEx is cooperating with authorities”.
