The Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change approved two major tourism investments in Kea and Milos concerning the construction and operation of tourist hotel complex.

In particular, the investment in Milos concern the construction of tourist hotel complex in “Ammoudaraki” area with a total capacity of 216 beds, including standard five-stars hotels, furnished tourist accomodation and spa center.

As for Kea, the tourism investment will take place in “Vroskopos” with total capacity of 230 beds and will include standard five-stars hotels, furnished tourist accommodation, spa therapy center accommodating 100 guests and center for scuba diving tourism.

For both investments, support projects are also included such as sewage treatment plant, swimming pools, internal roads, internal infrastructure networks (water, electricity, sewage), parking space, playgrounds. Also, in Kea is planned to construct a desalination plant.

The contractor for Vroskopos area are “Therissos Hills SA” and “Eidikou Skopou 24 SA”, while the contractor for Ammoudaraki area in Milos is “Axsite Agrotiki Touristiki SA”.
