Shortly before noon the first defendant employee of the amusement park gave his testimony. According to information, the Greek defendant provided evidence to the magistrate on the operation of the amusement park. He claimed that he did not provide these documents to the municipality because no one requested them.
As for the inflatable ball inside which the 13-year-old boy was, the defendant said that it was new and that they had already called the certification body to check that one as well as the rest of the entertainment equipment. “It was the bad weather that caused the accident” the defendant said.
The defendants have lodged an appeal on the amendment of their indictment from misdemeanor to felony. The Court of Misdemeanours will decide on the appeal.
