Pro-Russian separatists down Ukrainian helicopter

A Ukrainian army helicopter, type MI-24 was downed by pro-Russian separatists over Slaviansk in Eastern Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Defence.

The MI-24 crashed into a river in the region, while the pilots had time to abandon it without casualties.
