Britain decided to send in British Special Forces (SAS) to Nigeria to help discover and free the nearly 300 girls who were kidnapped last week by organization Boko Haram.
The issue was discussed during an urgent meeting of the British “Cobra” group (committee on emergencies), since a formal request from the Government of Nigeria was expected.
It is noteworthy that the U.S. government made a similar decision on Tuesday, a move which was welcome by the Nigerian president.
At this time, Nigeria police has announced that they will reward more than $300,000 to any volunteers who offer solid information that leads to the rescue of the girls.
