The proposals for revising the Constitution put forward by the New Democracy party aim to make a “rotten bourgeois state even more hostile to the people and their interests,” the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) said in an announcement on Thursday.
Replying to proposals outlined on Wednesday by Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, the party said the goal was to “create institutions and staff them with persons that, with greater decisiveness and ability will implement the anti-popular policy, while at the same time serving the process for reforming the bourgeois political system and its even closer adaptation to the needs of capital.”
