Equity prices were moderately declining at the opening on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 0.49 percent, standing at 1,218.72 points at 11:00 am, and turnover at 58.98 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.55 percent, and the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was down 0.13 percent.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Media (+1.29 percent), Telecoms (+1.02 percent) and Financial Services (+0.77 percent).
The biggest losses were in Personal & Household (-1.01 percent), Travel and Leisure (-0.69 percent) and Banks (-0.68 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 29 were up, 25 were down and 5 were unchanged.
