The position of the turkish side in the territorial aspect of the Cyprus problem is that as few people as possible should move, according to Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu. In a statement to “Anatoli” Turkish news agency, Mr. Eroglu stated that the developments of the last 40 years cannot be ignored, meaning that settlers and Turkish Cypriots who have stolen Greek Cypriot homes, should remain where they are.
If some people are going to move, stated Mr. Eroglu, a new location must be found, new houses similar to those they leave behind should be built, and then they can make the change of residence.
