With a special Facebook post, Alexis Tsirpas thanked his fans for the welcome he received on social media after his appearance in yesterday’s Euro-debate.

A total of six photos from the backstage of the televised debate depicts that the climate was quite relaxed and pleasant, as the candidates for the presidency of the European Commission seem to be comfortably talking with each other.

The post, uploaded this morning, has already garnered hundreds of “likes”, while the photograph where the president of SYRIZA along with Ska Keller of the Green party and Martin Schultz of the Social Democrats, appear to be relaxed and discussing prior to the debate.

Alexis Tsipras accompanies the photos with a message to his internet friends:

“We thank all those who watched yesterday’s Euro-debate and participated through social media. #TellEurope.
We express questioning and radically critiquing, as well as an alternative proporsal. Our choice rallies our forces and gives new impetus to the struggles that all unified peoples of Europe are fighting”.
