An exit poll conducted by Kapa Research for “Vima” shows Rena Dourou gaining the first place for Attica region and Gabriel Sakellaridis gaining the first place for Athens Municipality.

However, the results announced by Kapa Research are different from those announced by common exit polls.

In Attica region, the candidate of SYRIZA, Rena Dourou, comes first with 29.1 %, followed by Yiannis Sgouros 21.7 % while the candidate of New Democracy Giorgos Koumoutsakos comes third.

In Athens Municipality the candidate of SYRIZA, Gabriel Sakellaridis, leads the race with 22.4 %, followed by Giorgos Kaminis with 20.6 %, the candidate of Golden Dawn, Elias Kasidiaris, with 15.9 % and Aris Spiliotopoulos with 15.7 %.

In the Region of Central Macedonia Apostolos Tzitzikostas leads with 35.1 %, followed by Yannis Ioannidis with 16 % and Despina Charalampidou with 15.6 % .

In Peloponnese Tatoulis leads with 43.1 %, in Thessaly Agorastos leads with 42.5 % and in the Region of Crete Arnaoutakis leads with 40.4 %.

As for the voting intention for the European elections, SYRIZA leads with 27.4 % followed by New Democracy with 22.7 %, according to the same survey.
