Government spokesman Simos Kedikoglou categorically denied scenarios that show the government going immediately to national elections if they do not get the results they want after local and european elections.
Mr. Kedikoglou, speaking to Star TV channel, answered a question: “I categorically deny it”, stressing that we must “remember that we vote for local and european elections” and that any scenario that has anything to do with early elections has nothing to do with reality.
“Such a rumor is very worrying”, he commented.
“Next Sunday is very important. Each ballot box is different. The picture from the provinces, even as a small percentage, is different from that in Attica. In many cities and regions we have good results, stated the government spokesman, adding that next Sunday should ensure stability.
