In Thessaloniki’s Ampelokipous arrrived, shortly after 10am, to exercise his right to vote, Evangelos Venizelos.

The Deputy PM, in his statements immediately after the vote, said that the current day is dedicated to local government and stated that the choice of voters will consider both the current and our future days.

He closed his statements wishing that the people make a choice that will help growth, citizens and local communities: “Citizens will elect the best mayors and the best regional directors. I hope that their choice is towards growth and development”, he noted.
