A candidate running for municipal advisor with the political combination of Mr Michaloliakos presents a different version of story trying to restore the truth and refutes the former mayor of Piraeus who shortly after his defeat in the first round of local and regional elections spoke about an episode occurred at an elementary school at Castella engaging members of the combination “Piraeus Winner”.

“Because sometimes the truth must be revealed” as Mr Kassis stated on his personal account on Facebook, the prominent criminal lawyer refutes the claims made by Vassilis Michaloliakos.

Mr. Kassis, who was present at the polling station at the elementary school located at Tzavellas street at Kastella, where according to Mr Michaloliakos the incident took place, clarifies that “no incident actually took place there,”.

“Being present during the incident, I can assure you that nobody was prevented, especially Mr. Mayor, to enter the school, while the video, which was published, shows that the majority of people who were around him, were members of his combination,” says Mr Kassis.
