Greek Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras stressed that “The government has no problem with the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) report on the 5th review of Greece’s fiscal adjustment programme”, on Thursday, commenting on the IMF announcement which stated that it is postponing its release.
“Most of the agreed upon actions are settled. If one or two remain, these can be postponed to the summer sessions,” he said, when asked about continuing the government’s work after Parliament was closed. He also noted that, as far as the government was concerned, the IMF report could “be released right now”.
When asked about his trip to Paris, the Finance Minister said he held meetings with “technocrats of other states” on issues relating to Greece’s presidency of the European Union and denied that there had been any discussion on a settlement of Greek debt.
