Glorious memories of WWII awoke in Normandy, on the occasion of the commemorations of the 70th anniversary of the Allied invasion which cracked Hitler’s western front and contributed to an Allied victory in the war.
At the celebrations which begun on Thursday and culminated on Friday, hundreds of veterans wore their military uniforms and decorations, visited the landing site and remembered those crucial moments of their lives.
