Today’s Greece won a place in the list of the 10 most miserable countries in the world! According to a recent survey conducted by Gallup, Greece came fourth after Egypt where riots occur and followed by Syria that suffers from civil war.

The country which came first is Iran followed by Iraq, Egypt, Greece, Syria, Sierra Leone, Cyprus, Occupied Cyprus (the list mentions Occupied Cyprus as Northern Cyprus), Cambodia and lastly Lebanon.

The results were derived from the participants’ answers on “whether they felt anger, sadness, anxiety, physical pain and worry the previous day”. Unfortunately most of the “yes” replies were given by Greeks!

As for Iran, it should be noted that a few days ago six young people were arrested because they posted a video on YouTube showing them dancing the song of Pharrell Williams “Happy”. The video clip showed three men and three women without wearing head scarves dancing in the street, in apartments and on terraces in Tehran. Authorities arrested them accusing them of committing immoral act! So, “joy” and “fun” are two unknown words for Iranians and if people learn them, they will be punished! \
