The German national football team managed to beat their Portuguese counterparts in a match filled with highlights and goals, albeit one-sided. Thomas Mueller had a fantastic match, achieving a Hat-Trick, something which was helped by the sending off of Portuguese defender Pepe at the 37th minute. Cristiano Ronaldo and his team were not able to withstand the pressure put on by the Germans, however, they have valid claims to a penalty that was never given in their favour when an illegal challenge took place within Germany’s box.
