The Film seminar is a unique opportunity by Michael Kakogiannis Foundation for many. The aim of this practical intensive course is to give to the participants the necessary knowledge to create their own movie.
Through three main cycles of seminars relating to scenario directing and editing, students will come in contact with the basic principles of visual storytelling and how to tell a story through pictures and sounds. They will learn to transform an idea into a complete script as well as discover how to approach directing a script.
During the seminar, each student will write their own screenplay, will direct and edit its own short film, while at the same time will help the other participants in their films by having a different role every time. There is the possibility of cooperation between two participants in the process of writing the script and the film.
This basic body of the seminar will be enriched with master classes which will be relating to camera, acting and production as well as and screenings of excerpts of selected films and analysis of directorial point of view.
