Internal Security Police Department in Alexandroupoli resolved the murder of a 52 year old man , traces of whom had been lost since December of 2013. As announced by the police the murder was committed by a 39-year old fellow townsman who was arrested on Judge warrant.

As it was revealed in questioning the victim had sold a car to the accused and on the 8th of December of 2013 the victim visited the home of the accused in the area of Dorisko-Evros, in order to collect the money for the car. From that day on, his tracks were lost and his relatives declared him missing to the police station of the area.

A case file was formed for murder in the first Degree against the 39 year old perpetrator, while according to the police, he has been addressed in the past by the prosecuting authorities for trafficking illegal immigrants in the country, violations on Narcotics as well as charges on weapons possession and theft.
