After the “small PPC” bill which will be completed during this week, the bills on seashores and forests will follow.

Also, the remaining six prerequisites for the disbursement of the next tranche will be voted by the end of July.

Even though the government does not seem to be worry about the current visit of Troika, it does worry about the upcoming evaluation which will take place in September.

Therefore, the government wants to close all outstanding issues until September since the evaluation is associated with the discussions on the debt relief.

However, the government should convince Troika that the court decisions on restoring the wages of uniformed officers and possibly other professional groups will not impact Greek budget and primary surplus of 2014.

During the discussion with the Troika, the government denies that they have slowed down the process of reforms and refers to the small PPC issue in order to show that Greece is determined to proceed regardless of the political cost. The government will proceed to the remaining issues following the same tactic.

However, members of the New Democracy express some concerns about the possible political cost and believes that the political climate that will be formed in September will determine whether government will remain in power or not.
