During the meeting of the Budget Committee, Turkish MP’s of the ruling Justice and Development Party with the Republican People’s Party (CHP) of the center-left Kemalist started punching and slapping each other.
It all started while they were discussing the increase on the salary of workers in the mines of Somma, when a member of the opposition accused the ruling party of not keeping his promise to increase the salary of employees in 2000 Turkish Liras.
The reaction of the accused members of the AKP was intense, and one of them attacked a Member of the CHP.
Specifically, after a man initially caught the other by the throat, then began to hit him with punches and slaps!
The meeting did not continue and the two men were separated by CHP Members.
