Storms, winds and hail will be the characteristics of the weather in the afternoon in Central and Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, in accordance with the emergency bulleting of the National Meteorological Service (EMY).

These phenomena will be intensified on Tuesday and will hit the central and northern mainland and the North Aegean sea. Gradual weakening is expected by night, while the rest of the mainland and the Ionian sea will experience rains and storms which will occur mainly in the afternoon hours. Despite their limited duration, however, they will be strong and accompanied by hailstorms and strong winds.

On Wednesday, the severe weather phenomena will weaken by the afternoon and will disappear by the end of the day to the northeast.
