During the arrest of the fugitive terrorist Nikos Maziotis two tourists, a German and an Australian, and a police officer were injured.

The two tourists were slightly injured and were transferred at Erythros Stavros hospital.

The police officer was injured from fragments of the grenade which was thrown by Maziotis and was transferred to the military hospital. Maziotis, who was shot in the shoulder, will undergo a surgery at Evangelismos hospital.
