The world premiere of Hollywood blockbuster “Hercules” was held on July 23 in U.S. where the star of the film Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson talked about Greece and his love of mythology.

According to GreekReporter, Dwayne said that: “Hercules has been a dream of me since I was five years. I love the mythology of Hercules. I feel that the Greek blood is in my DNA now.”

“I hope I’ve made the Greek people very proud,” he added. Also, when asked whether he wanted the world premiere to be held in Greece, he commented that he tried very much for this, but it was not possible to do it.

The wife of Hercules, Megara, is played by the Russian beauty Irina Shayk. The famous model said to GreekReporter about her recent trip to Greece with football star Cristiano Ronaldo, and her role in the film.

“I love Greece, my name is Greek and I feel great every time I spend time there” she said. When asked about the rumors that have her looking to buy a house in Greece Irina said “I will think about it.”
