The plane was pinned to the ground at a speed of 900 kilometers per hour and has opened a three meter deep crater in the earth.

The French soldiers who were called to guard the point are facing an eerie landscape, blackened with debris.
Due to the severity of the conflict and the strong “shock” caused by the crash, human bodies and all kinds of objects in the plane dissected in a flash. This is the reason that so far has not a single intact body has been found to the place of the accident.

Experts have not come yet to any conclusions of what led to the crash of the aircraft which was carrying in total 118 people.
The fierce storm that prevailed in the region seems to be the strongest factor, although it has been noted that the reason for which the plane was pinned to the ground can be the result of the pilots disorientation, which could have been caused from various reasons.
According to experts, the possibility of terrorism has not yet been ruled out.

The two black boxes of the aircraft that were found are expected to soon shed more light on the circumstances of the accident.
