CNN travel once again includes the Greek beaches in its list. Marie Hunter has gathered “20 stunning cliffside beaches” and included Navagio beach at Zakynthos and Porto Katsiki at Lefkada among the most amazing beaches in the world.

The beaches chosen by Marnie Hunter have a wild beauty and visitors would “probably need to hike, climb or boat in, and some of these beaches are not recommended for swimming”.

Navagio beach on Zakynthos is ranked 2nd and the article mentions that it is “only accessible by boat and is one of Greece’s most beautiful stretches of sand”.

Marnie Hunter ranks Porto Katsiki 15th mentioning that “its stunning setting draws crowds” and advises visitors “to arrive early or late or visit during the off-season for a bigger slice of sand and a smoother arrival”.
