ENFIA tax cannot be “corrected or slightly repaired”, SYRIZA’s parliamentary spokesman Panagiotis Lafazanis said in a statement to “To Choni” newspaper.

“ENFIA can only be withdrawn so as to relieve small and medium classes and properties of an unbearable burden,” he said.

Lafazanis criticized the government’s policy and stressed that the house and the small property of the Greek households are in risk as a result of mortgages and high taxation.

Asked on international developments, he noted that “Europe and the planet are on the brink of the abyss.” Regarding the Russian embargo on agricultural products, Lafazanis pointed out that it was a response to the economic sanctions against Russia and estimated it would give the final blow to Greece’s agricultural production and economy.
