Famous supermodel Kate Moss teamed up with a sculptor to create a unique champagne glass.
Mayfair’s 34 Restaurant, the place where Kate Moss celebrated her 40th birthday in January, commissioned British artist Jane McAdam Freud to create a mould of the model’s left breast.
It should be noted that the artist is the daughter of late painter Lucien Freud who Moss posed for while pregnant.
The result, as the restaurant described it, is an “intricate abstract design reminiscent of Art Deco symmetry which, when held at an angle, shows a beautiful curvy shape.”
Next to the “Kate” signature on the base there is a small heart, as seen on all her collaborations.
Strangely enough, this is not the first time that such a glass has been created. It’s believed that the first champagne glass made in the 18 Century was modeled on the left breast of French queen Marie Antoinette.
”I was excited to participate in this project,” said Moss, adding that it is a great honor to be alongside Marie Antoinette, who was a very intriguing and mischievous character.
“Champagne is always associated with celebration and happy occasions and I had fun creating this beautiful coupe,” added the famous model.
