A ranking of the best honeymoon destinations in Europe has been released by US News Travel website, and the Greek islands are the undisputed stars among the fifteen romantic destinations. Santorini, Corfu, Crete and Rhodes are included in the list of the 15 best spots for honeymooners.

The travel site’s list was based on factors like couple-friendly accommodations, attractions and dining and includes some of the most romantic places in Europe, a continent that “conjures up an unmistakable faraway allure”. You can vote for your favorites here

1. Santorini

Why go: Santorini attracts newlyweds with its breathtaking scenery. Spend your honeymoon strolling past white-washed houses, climbing scenic cliffs and swimming in the Aegean Sea. An extra plus is the divine seafood and the enchanting hotels.

2. Corfu
Why go: Can you think of anything more romantic than Shakespeare? Corfu is said to have inspired the backdrop for “The Tempest.” Don’t miss the Glyfada Beach with its epic rock formations. Corfu’s dramatic landscape and its tasty cuisine will blow you away.

3. Crete
