As everything indicates the Greek side’s proposal to increase from 12 to 100 the doses for the arrears was not agreed by Troika. From their side they sent a message to the Greek Ministry of Finance that the doses should not exceed the 48, which is the same as already currently for old debts.

In the government headquarters there is concern both because it had grown by members the impression that increasing doses from 12 to 100 will be unilaterally and without needing to consult the Troika, and secondly because by increasing arrears each month by about 1.2 billion . euro if the message doesn’t pass to borrowers that they can repay their debts at a depth of 8-9 years the amount might never get collected.
