According to Reauters, an internal report of the EU, supports that the Russian embargo may inflict financial losses of up tom 5 billion euro.
The report which was passed today to EU commissioners in Brussels also states that ” the temporary restrictions from Russia, put at risk 5 billion euro worth of trading”.

During 20113 the total food exports from EU to Russia totaled to 11.8 billion euro, while the products that Russia has set embargo they represented over the same period the amount of 5.1 billion euro.

The consequences of the Russian embargo will be the subject of the Friday’s meeting, between the EU Minister’s of Agriculture in Brussels. Further, according to the same report “the chance of the targeted compensation will have to be further discussed with the other country member and with the European Parliament.
