A Presidential election by the current Parliament is wished for by 54% by Greeks, so that the country is not led to elections, according to a Metron Analysis poll for Parapolitika newspaper. 41% of those asked want early elections.
On the matter of exiting the crisis, 84% of citizens are asking for a change in political system, while 8% requests a change in policies.
Furthermore, 68% negatively rates the government against 26% which has a positive opinion. “Elia” party voters have a 73% positive attitude towards the ruling coalition. 68% of people asked is negatively predisposed against the opposition party, with 22% being positively predisposed.
In addition, 44% of citizens estimates that the situation in the economy within the next year will be worse, 29% believes that it will stay the same while 25% thinks it will get better.
Finally, 38% of those asked estimates that the Samaras government could negotiate better over the debt issue, while 25% believes that SYRIZA can handle the aforementioned subject better.
