Mr. Antonis Samaras replied to the request made by the leader of SYRIZA for early elections, that : “Those who speak of elections are ignorant and indifferent, or deeply unconcerned regarding the progress of this country”.

The Greek Prime Minister had already rejected the appeal for early elections a long time ago, and made the above statement on his way into the Parliament on Tuesday afternoon.

Further, the Minister of State Mr. Dimitris Stamatis had previously assured that efforts will be made in Parliament for the election of the next President of the Republic, without prior election.
